In 2003 was the start of Accents Floral & Gifts LLC. As a young girl, Lisa would go out into her Grandad's fields to pick wild flowers and take them back to the house and arrange them beautifully in mason jars from her Grandmother's cupboards. Grandmother would nah about how Lisa would "get chiggers from those weeds". Little did she know that someday those "chigger weeds" would be the inspiration that would lead Lisa and her husband with their three kids to open their first flower shop on the NW corner of the square in Neosho, MO. Years later when the kids got bigger, the flower shop was moved to Granby, MO. With one additional and final move, they found themselves back in Neosho where they started. The family has a quaint little flower shop beside their home nestled on the backroads of Newton County. People thought Lisa was crazy, especially her family, but as she puts it: "it has been the biggest blessing besides raising my family on a farm built by my husband and I over the past 35 years". In addition to fresh flowers you will find their little country store with gifts items such as candles, natural bath and body items, country home decor, willow tree angels, and custom made silk wreathes and flower arrangements to brighten and accent the home. With gifts for every occasion from anniversaries, birthdays from the youngest to the oldest, get well, sympathy, weddings or just because, you'll be sure to find something that fits your needs. Accents Floral & Gifts is a full service flower shop offering fresh flowers daily, silk arrangements for the home, gift or sympathy. Balloons and candy bouquets, stuffed animals and gift items and home decor, with a few specialty bath and body items that make lovely gift baskets.
The team consists of owner Lisa, her husband, and their loyal red healer Quincy who will be the first to greet you and show all the love you care to have. Accents Floral & Gifts recruits family, sons, daughters-in-law, and daughter on the busy holidays as well as a few lucky loyal friends when needed. But most of the time it is just Quincy and Lisa manning the crazy thing called life together. |
